34th Annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow Saturday, April 5
The 34th annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow (WHPP) will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the Memorial Union on the Concordia College campus from 1:00 – 10:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Knowledge is Power, Tradition is Strength.” The WHPP is sponsored by MSUM, Concordia College, Minnesota State Community and Technical College, North Dakota State University (NDSU), and North Dakota State College of Science. The powwow will feature many styles of dance and drum songs from area tribes, including the Potato Dance Special & Head Male Dancer Special.
Grand entries are at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and a community meal will be served during the 5 p.m. break. The doors will open to the public at noon.
