
24 DECA members qualify for international competition
Twenty-four MSUM Paseka School of Business students qualified for the spring 2025 Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference competition in San Francisco on April 5-8.
MSUM students had an outstanding performance at the Collegiate DECA Minnesota Association Career Development Conference to earn their spots at the national competition. In addition to all participants qualifying for the national competition, MSUM students set a new record with 24 team members placing in the Top 3, 16 individual or team placements in the Top 3, and a clean sweep in Financial Accounting (Top 1, 2 and 3).
Ten colleges and universities represent the Minnesota Collegiate DECA chapter.
MSUM’s Collegiate DECA works to enhance the professional, educational, and social development of MSUM students. It encourages interaction between business executives, faculty, staff, and students. Collegiate DECA competes at the State and International Career Development Conferences and other events to improve their skills and be career-ready professionals.
