Honor Military Members with “Remember Everyone Deployed” Shirts – Now Available at Bookstore
Dragon Community members are encouraged to participate in Remember Everyone Deployed (RED) initiative each Friday.
RED Friday is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those deployed and the importance of community. Wearing red every Friday, students, faculty, and staff at MSU Moorhead are not only showing Dragon pride but also sending a message of appreciation and support to our military personnel and their families.
The MSUM Bookstore has collaborated closely with our Veteran Success Team and Operation Hat Trick (an organization that seeks to generate awareness of and support for the recovery of wounded service members and veterans) to help get RED shirts in stock. Let’s unite as a Dragon community and proudly flood our campus in red every Friday to show unending support for those deployed.
The Dragon community has approximately 200 military-connected students, 55% of which are Veterans or current Service Members. Many of our Veterans have been deployed to a range of locations, and at least one student that is or will be deployed.
