
“A Watched Pot Always Boils: Making Money in the Music Industry” with George Schwindt
This Friday, February 21st, the School of Performing Arts and Department of Audio, Engineering, and Entertainment have partnered to bring a special guest Zoom presentation to campus: “A Watched Pot Always Boils: Making Money in the Music Industry.” The presentation will feature George Schwindt, former drummer for the world-famous rock band “Flogging Molly” and now a music industry lawyer based out of LA who specializes in music licensing and copyright. Mr. Schwindt will speak with MSUM students at 12noon on Friday via Zoom in Fox Recital Hall and again with students in AEM 261 “Legal and Ethical Issues in Entertainment” at 2pm.
