SLP Graduate Students and Faculty attend the national American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) convention

Thirteen 2nd year Speech Language Pathology Graduate Students and two SLHS faculty members (Dr. Nancy Paul and Dr. Elaine Pyle) attended the national American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) convention December 5th – 7th in Seattle, Washington.

Two students completed poster presentations related to their thesis research:

    Understanding Practitioner’s Perceptions of Speech and Language Therapy Services in the Juvenile Justice System – Julia Buendgen (MSUM SLP Class of 2024); Elaine Pyle (Faculty Writing Supervisor)
    The Roles of Social Media in Speech Language Pathology: A review of the literature – Kira Engebretson (MSUM SLP Class of 2025); Elaine Pyle (Faculty Writing Supervisor)
