Fuego Tropical presents “A Night of Heavy Metal: Steelbands and Gamelans”
The MSUM World Music and Percussion Ensemble, “Fuego Tropical,” will present their annual fall concert on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7:30pm in Gaede Theatre. Directed by Dr. Kenyon Williams, “A Night of Heavy Metal: Steel Bands and Gamelans” will feature music from two very different cultures: the intense and exciting steel band music of Trinidad and the relaxing, meditative music of the Javanese gamelan. Join us for a unique evening of world music!
