Professor Sando attends conference of Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers
Dr. Paul Sando attended the conference of the Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers and presented as part of a panel discussion on the Historical Geography of the Prairies and Problems faced by Historical and Heritage Preservation Agencies and Groups. The conference was held at UND in Grand Forks. The Geography program at UND is a member/outlier of the CAG in this country. For myself and my students this conference also represents the academic “circle of life”, as the host of the conference, Dr. Douglas Munski from UND, is Dr. Sando’s undergraduate advisor. Dr. Sando took Munski’s 100 level Human/Cultural geography 38 years ago, and Dr. Sando is currently teaching Geos 111 which is related to that course.
