As we welcome new and returning faculty and staff to campus this week, we also remember former MSUM faculty and staff that passed away in the last year.

- Claire Cardwell, former international student advisor, at MSUM 1992-1994
- Tom Christianson, music faculty, at MSUM 2002, 2011, 2013-2014, 2024
- Dale Gronhovd, speech, language & hearing sciences faculty, at MSUM 1974-2004
- Bill Hall, mass communications faculty, at MSUM 1975-2014
- Roray James Hedges, theatre faculty 1997-2009 and designer/production manager for The Straw Hat Players 1976-2009
- Kenneth Schwartz, general maintenance worker, at MSUM 2002-2009
- Larry MacLeod, basketball coach, athletics director, and Dragon Hall of Fame inductee, at MSUM 1954-1967
