Father and son set to share spotlight at MSUM graduation

MOORHEAD — When students at Minnesota State University Moorhead walk across the stage on Friday for graduation, look for a special family pair.
Forty-six-year-old Ben Bomstad and his 21-year-old son Parker Bomstad are both graduating this week. Both will be graduating with degrees in Operations Management.
Both students finished their degrees online after starting their education at Minnesota technical schools.
There was no plan for them to graduate at the same time. It just worked out that way.
