MSU Moorhead’s Amy Mercer presents “Seasons” April 13

MSUM piano Professor Amy Mercer will present a recital titled “Seasons” featuring works by Beethoven, Egreberg, Bodom, Lærum Liebich, Arneberg, and Piazzollaon on Saturday, April 13, at 2 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall.

She is a founding member of the Lyra Trio and will be assisted by Lyra Trio members Jane Linde Capistran, violin, and Elise Buffat Nelson, cello.

Mercer completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia College and studied at the Aspen Music Festival and School. She earned a master’s degree in music and a doctorate in musical arts. Mercer is a nationally certified music teacher active in the National Federation of Music Clubs and Music Teachers’ National Association. She has taught at Centre College in Danville, Ky., North Dakota State University and Concordia College. She also maintains a private studio and is an independent accompanist.
