In recognition of both Black History and Women’s History Months, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and Minnesota State are excited to host HERSTORY: Women Breaking Barriers. Panelists include Ubah Ali, first Somali American on-air TV reporter at WCCO; Roslyn Harmon, first black mayor of Golden Valley; and Nadia Mohamed, first Somali American and Black mayor of St. Louis Park. They will share their journeys as public servants.
