The Legacy of Project E-Quality: Reception and Panel Discussion Nov. 9
Moorhead State College (now known as MSUM) launched Project E-Quality in 1968, which ran through 1972, in response to the civil rights struggles of the 1960s. Under the leadership of MSC President John J. Neumaier (1959-1968), a committed supporter of the civil rights movement, approximately fifty minority students were recruited to the program. The panel discussants are among the first students recruited into the program.
On Thursday, Nov. 9, join faculty, students, retirees and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for an opening reception (6:30 p.m.) and a panel discussion (7:30 p.m.) with some of the first students recruited to the program.
