Operations management student and entrepreneur Zac Davis to speak at StartupBREW

Zac Davis, founder of Z3D Solutions, will be a featured speaker at the Wednesday, Sept. 20 StartupBREW, an Emerging Prairie monthly event. The MSUM-sponsored event runs from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Brewhalla.
Zac is a transfer student who is pursuing an operations management degree. He earned an AAS in mechanical design and drafting from M State in 2018. He founded Z3D Solutions in 2022 and credits Professors Siwei Zhu, Josh Behl, and Kevin Lanners for helping him on his entrepreneurial journey.
“Their guidance in key management areas has helped me launch my company in a fraction of the time, and I learned the fundamentals of accomplishing that through the coursework of their classes,” Zac said. “Everyone I have worked with at the MSUM faculty has been beyond helpful, and you can tell they genuinely want you to succeed here. I highly recommend the MSUM Operations Management and Entrepreneurial Program offered there to anyone starting their own business, and to reach out to me with any questions on where to get started.”
Z3D Solutions is a multi-discipline design firm specializing in creating custom digital assets that communicate complex ideas and geometries into quality, usable designs for fabrication.
“I started Z3D Solutions to help others with my ability to create something from nothing. Using my Kaizen training from operations management, I put together a scope for updating existing or creating new designs,” Zac said. The company’s services include custom 3D design, 3D printing and prototyping, metal fabrication and more.
