MSUM to Host Walk Into My Future Event August 3 – Volunteers Needed
MSUM will be hosting this year’s Walk into My Future event this summer. Walk into My Future is a one-day event where approximately 1500 K-5 students from the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA will visit MSUM’s campus. This program rotates between the Tri-College campuses with the ultimate goal to inspire students to attend college through a positive on-campus experience that builds awareness of careers and colleges. MSUM will be hosting this event on Thursday, August 3 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
MSUM is currently accepting booth registration from faculty/staff/departments for those looking to participate in this event. This is a great way to interact with area K-5 students and show them a fantastic time on our campus. Booth activities can vary, and have included demonstrations/experiments in the sciences, sustainability/green activities, construction activities/games, movement/obstacles and much more!
