Scrubs Camp featured in Forum, WDAY story

High school students get look at careers in health care at MSUM 8th annual Scrubs Camp

MOORHEAD — Essentia Health and Minnesota State University Moorhead are collaborating to help high school students a chance to explore careers in health care.

High school students from all over Minnesota are exploring different health careers at MSUM’s Scrubs Camp.

Throughout the four-day camp, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., students will go on field trips to work directly with healthcare professionals and get hands-on experience.

“So these kids in a short amount of time will get to experience things from audiology to radiology and kind of everything in between,” said youth outreach coordinator Sean Brandenburg.
