College for Kids & Teens receives grant for youth scholarships
MSUM College for Kids & Teens received a $6,500 grant to provide funding for Youth Scholarships from the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) for the summer of 2023. These funds will be utilized to provide need-based scholarships to area youth who are interested in taking summer courses in the arts.
College for Kids & Teens is a summer day camp program for kids ages 8 to 18. Classes are taught by expert instructors and designed to encourage exploration, adventure, & creativity. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The scholarships provide opportunities for children to develop their potential through quality art program experiences.
