Join the 60th season of MSUM’s The Straw Hat Players for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing. Enjoy songs from across their musical canon, including hits from Carousel, Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music. A Grand Night for Singing runs May 30 – June 1 on the Gaede Stage.
Side by Side by Sondheim: A Musical Celebration (June 6-8)
The MSUM Straw Hat Players are back for their 60th season with their production of Side by Side by Sondheim running June 6-8th on the Gaede Stage. Get ready to laugh, cry and fall in love with Stephen Sondheim’s music all over again. Featuring songs from Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
The Prom (June 13-15)
Act Up Theatre and Wheelhouse Theatrical Productions collaborate with The MSUM Straw Hat Players 60th season for the finale production of The Prom. The Prom is a story about acceptance, love and being the person you were meant to be. Join us for this Tony Award-winning musical June 13 – 15 on MSUM’s Hansen’s Theatre.
