Whitney Mead presents at the ND Speech Language Hearing Association Convention

Whitney Mead, Assistant Professor in Speech Language Hearing Sciences, presented a poster presentation at the 2023 NDSLHA State Convention in Minot, ND on March 23: “Utilizing Caregivers to facilitate language development during shared reading practices of multilingual preschool children.” The presentation described the current findings on a literature review of the topic and listed specific strategies that can be taught to caregivers to support language skills in young children.
