The Effect of Culture on the Imposter Syndrome Study: Participants Needed
The imposter syndrome is the experience of feeling inadequate or inferior combined with the fear of being exposed a phony or fraud. It may occur in wide variety of settings. Dr. Brenda Koneczny is collaborating with an international research team studying the effect of culture on the imposter syndrome. The purpose of this research is to examine the influences on international culture on how people experience the imposter syndrome at work. The study is currently seeking a wide variety of participants.
In order to participate, you must be 18 years or older, currently live in the United States, and work full-time. If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey that will take about 10 – 20 minutes. This study has been approved by the MSUM Institutional Review Board.
