Statewide Safety Perception Survey

Minnesota State University Moorhead will be participating in the third statewide safety perception survey. The survey is being conducted to provide you, and all Minnesota State employees, an opportunity to express your opinions about workplace safety and to provide constructive feedback and information needed to proactively manage staff safety.

The State of Minnesota Department of Administration has contracted with PMA Companies, an outside vendor, to develop this web-based survey.  When the employee survey is completed, PMA Companies will collect and analyze the data, ensuring employee responses remain anonymous.  The Department of Administration will receive a state-wide report identifying the state’s safety perception strengths, weaknesses, and gaps.

This is a state wide employee survey including all state agencies and not limited to only Minnesota State. As in previous surveys, the wording of some questions will appear to be generic. Employees should respond to the survey questions considering their safety perception as applicable to their campus.  Completion of the survey is expected to take less than 20 minutes.

Employee participation is important to this process. Our goal is 100 percent participation in order to ensure that every employee’s voice is heard.  Please complete the survey by April 7, 2023.
