Norwegian pianist Oda Hjertine Voltersvik peforms at MSUM March 6

MSUM will host guest pianist Oda Hjertine Voltersvik as she presents “Nordic Unrest” Monday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall.
The Norwegian pianist presents piano pieces by Edvard Grieg, Geir Tveitt and Atli Heimir Sveinsson, which aim to capture elements within the dramatic Nordic nature or reflect tales and characters originating from mythology and folklore. In addition, the program includes pieces reflecting an inner unrest from the characters described or the composers themselves.
Tickets, $8 for students or $10 for adults, are available to purchase at the door.
