Dr. Deb White receives Woman of Worth Award
Dr. Deb White, Professor in Sociology & Criminal Justice Department, receives the 2023 Woman of Worth award at this year’s FM International Women’s Day hosted by Nyamal Dei, Founder of Kondial Kel International. The recognition reads: “We, the Governing body of Kondial Kel International organization, hereby recognize you as a Woman of Worth. You know your worth and you understand the value of other women by encouraging and supporting them to know who they truly are in our community. You have shown a level of integrity and honor in your labors that is worth recognition.
Dr. White is and outstanding professor that has taught and mentored many MSUM students. In addition, she is the coordinator of the Tri-College National Education for Women’s Leaderships Development Institute. Nyamal and many of the women leaders attending the event were graduates of the NEW Leadership program.
MSUM’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion was a featured sponsor of the event and was able to bring campus employees and students.
