Steve Lindaas attends American Association of Physics Teachers conference

Steve Lindaas, Department of Physics and Astronomy, attended the Winter Meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers.  He is the outgoing Chair of the Apparatus Committee which helps plan and run AAPT conferences and has now been asked to serve on the Membership and Benefits association committee.  While at the conference he was talking to an exhibitor who noted he was from MSUM and gave the unsolicited comment that “MSUM has a really great Planetarium Director, Sara Schultz.”  Another conference attendee was in the conversation circle and indicated that they were at a recent planetarium conference and were also impressed with not only Dr. Schultz but the MSUM student Jacob Karsten, a physics major, and his presentation.
