School of Art Professor Anna Sigridur Arnar organizes panel on Artists in Conflict Zones for New York conference
On February 17, 2023 Anna Sigrídur Arnar, School of Art, will be convening an academic panel at the annual College Art Association in New York. As a member of the International Committee of the organization, she and co-chair Dr. Tenley Bick of Florida State University will convene the panel titled “Aesthetics of Resistance: Artists Respond to Armed Conflict at Home” featuring artists from Ukraine and Nicaragua and Dr. Carol Becker of Columbia University as respondent.
