Amy Mercer presents “Piano Fantasies” Feb. 10

MSUM piano Professor Amy Mercer will present “Piano Fantasies” featuring works by Mozart, Chopin, Price and Schumann on Friday, Feb. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall.    

Mercer completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia College under David Worth and studied at the Aspen Music Festival and School. She is a founding member of the Lyra Trio. Dr. Mercer is a nationally certified music teacher and is active in the National Federation of Music Clubs and Music Teachers’ National Association. She has taught at Centre College in Danville, Ky., North Dakota State University and Concordia College. She also maintains a private studio and is an independent accompanist.
