Brad Bachmeier “Badlands Origins” Ceramic Exhibition

School of Art Professor Brad Bachmeier’s newest body of ceramic work will be on exhibition this month at the Bismarck Art and Galleries Association Gallery from Nov. 1-24 with a reception and gallery talk this Friday, Nov. 4thfrom 5-7:00. The exhibition features work from 2 artist-in-residency programs that Professor Bachmeier conducted this summer at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in ND and Montana’s largest state park, Makoshika. The exhibition also includes related select works from 5 other National Park residencies that Bachmeier has completed in the last 8 years. The works celebrate the mission of National Park Artist in Residencies which is to tell the unique and individual story of each park which Bachmeier does through the incorporated study of geology, topography and archeology.
