Día de los Muertos Celebration
Join us in 2 events celebrating Día de los Muertos!
November 1: We will celebrate the departed by building an ofrenda, or altar, in the Intercultural Center. Throughout the day, the campus community is invited to build the altar — please bring items to honor the departed (ex. foods, beverages, memorabilia, etc.)
November 2: We will continue the celebration in the Intercultural Center to:
- Learn about this tradition! What is the difference between Halloween and Día de los Muertos
- Remember loved ones who have died
- Get creative decorating skulls
- Eat delicious traditional treats
