Celebrate the MSUM Planetarium’s 50th Anniversary

You are invited to help celebrate a half century of space exploration on campus.

In 1972, the MSUM Planetarium opened its doors for the first time. In the 50 years since, the space has been used to mystify, educate, and entertain thousands. In recognition of this milestone, the planetarium is showing “50 Years of Discoveries” on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.

This show celebrates and showcases the major advancements in astronomy and space exploration since the planetarium’s opening. From Apollo 17 to the James Webb Space Telescope, join the planetarium on a journey through space and time! This event is free for students, staff and faculty.
