Deadline Extended to October 4 for Nominations for Board of Trustees Excellence Awards for Teaching Faculty
Deadline extended for nominations! New deadline, 5 pm October 4.
MSUM is participating in the nomination and submission process for the MinnState Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence for Teaching Faculty – Educator of the Year. These awards acknowledge and provide system-wide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement of our college and university faculty. Faculty who have served 3 years in the system are eligible.
The rubric that these nominations will be evaluated by are here – BOT Teaching Rubric.pdf (requires Star ID and password to sign into ASA Connect Sharepoint). The nomination letter or form should address the nominee’s performance in the categories: Standards for Assessment of Student Learning and Performance; Culturally Responsive Teaching and Pedagogy; Innovative Teaching Strategies and Materials; Services to Students, Profession, Institution, & System to Advance Teaching Excellence; and Content Expertise and Professional Growth.
