Academic Progress Checks Assessment Findings
Week 5 Academic Progress Checks opened this week Monday, September 19 for instructors to submit information about their students’ progress. Information provided is vital for retention efforts at MSUM. In a recently completed study of the effectiveness of academic progress checks, we found week 5 and 10 progress checks were significant predictors of student retention and student responsiveness was associated with increased retention rates.
