2022 Banned Books Week at the Library

Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in schools, bookstores, and libraries. This year’s theme is “Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us.”
Stop by the library from September 18-24 to view our Banned Books Week display and check out a book with your Dragon ID, contribute to our interactive whiteboard survey, and participate in our banned book cover design contest for a chance to win a Banned Books Week themed prize. We will also be posting some interesting online events throughout the week on our social media accounts.
