Train the Trainer for Sexual Violence Prevention education
The Sexual Violence Prevention Committee is offering a Train the Trainer session on Aug. 9th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm in Lommen 104. The In Their Shoes/Bystander Intervention experience is completed by all students who are registered in a First Year Experience Course. The sessions are offered on multiple dates and times during September. Each session has two facilitators so you would not have to do a session alone.
The facilitator training will include an opportunity to help with set up, meet other facilitators and walk through the In Their Shoes and Bystander intervention experience as a participant. You don’t have to commit to being a facilitator but if you are simply curious about the experience you are welcome to attend.
