Two Sanford Research Study Opportunities
The Sanford Center for Biobehavioral Research is currently recruiting participants for the following two studies:
Study 1:
Relationships between Sleep, Eating Behavior, and Body Weight
You may be eligible if you:
· Are 18-45 years old
· Are overweight
· AND experience binge eating (where you feel out of control while eating and overeat) at least once weekly
Participation in the study will take place over a period of 6-8 months. During this time, participants will complete a total of 2 Screening Assessments, 6 In-Person Study Visits, and 3 at-home Objective Sleep Assessments. During these visits, participants will be asked to complete a variety of questionnaires, cognitive tasks, and clinical assessments.

Study 2:
Attention, Eating Behaviors, and Brain Activity
You may be eligible if you:
· Are 18-45 years old
· And have a BMI of 18 and above
Participation in the study will take place in 3 study visits over a period of 1-2 weeks, and 1 additional study visit 6 months later. The first visit will take 1.5 hours to complete and consists of questionnaires and a clinical interview. After visit 1, participants will be scheduled for an fMRI scan at Sanford (~30 minutes) and an EEG session at NDSU (~2-3 hours). Finally, participants will return to repeat the tasks of the first visit 6 months later.
