Pop-Up Food Pantry Distribution

Contact-free grocery pick-up available Friday, Feb. 4nd from 5-6:30PM

West Fargo Eats. will be open on Friday, Feb. 4nd from 5-630pm for contact-free food pick-up.

Anyone in need of food assistance is welcome to drive or walk up to this mobile food pantry. Contact-free grocery boxes are provided on a first come, first served basis and those in need do not need to call ahead. Food items will consist of fresh fruits and veggies, and may include bakery, dairy, shelf stable, and meat items. Volunteers will be taking safety precautions and we ask that clients arriving by car remain in their vehicles at all times. We also ask that clients NOT arrive sooner than 10 minutes prior to Pop up start.

West Fargo Eats. is the innovative result of a unique collaboration between Lutheran Church of the Cross, Gate City Bank, YWCA Cass Clay, and Great Plains Food Bank to form the new Food Share Alliance in West Fargo – a first in this community. Operated entirely by volunteers from the Food Share Alliance partners, West Fargo Eats. offers a shopping-style experience open on a consistent schedule, bringing empowerment, respect, and dignity to individuals and families experiencing temporary food insecurity.

We know that lots of folks are struggling to make ends meet—with rising grocery costs and inflation, and we see this food support as a crucial part of responding to our community’s needs and meeting our neighbors where they are at. Everyone deserves to have enough food to eat. NO ONE should go hungry; and everyone needs help sometimes. We want our community and neighbors to know they matter and that there is hope and support in our community.

Typically during our Pop Up Food Pantries, we plan to serve 220 families—or close to 700 people! ALL in need of food assistance are welcome.
