Campus Chaplain Guides Interfaith Exploration and Spiritual Wellness

With a pandemic in play, campus counseling resources have been swamped. Wanting to fill this important void, MSUM leaders brought on Rev. Dominique Buchholz as chaplain to provide optional and free, confidential conversations, interfaith education opportunities, and spiritual care to anyone – students, faculty and staff – regardless of their religious or non-religious backgrounds. Rev. Buchholz is the university’s inaugural campus chaplain, working closely with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
