Office of Diversity and Inclusion Receives Indigenous Student Grant
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) is excited to announce that we were the successful recipients of a $12,000 grant award from the Helen Roberti Charitable Trust. This grant is specifically awarded to organizations that operate to benefit Native Americans through educational and leadership opportunities. ODI annually distributes this award to as many American Indian Students as possible, this year there are 9 Helen Roberti scholars! Ms. Roberti’s particular concern was to assist Indigenous students in obtaining educational degrees so that they, through such vocations, could represent and assist other Native Americans in assertion of their legal rights.
