Changes to D2L Brightspace Notifications
Instructors often post important and time-sensitive information in the Announcements tool of their courses. To help ensure students receive this information, all users of D2L Brightspace will have their settings modified to receive email notifications when Announcements are posted or updated in D2L Brightspace starting Monday, December 27. This includes Announcements in all courses a person is enrolled in as well as Announcements posted on the homepage of D2L Brightspace.
On Monday, December 27, an Announcement will be posted, which will send an email notification to you containing information on how to customize your notification settings. We suspect most users will choose to receive additional notifications. In the rare case you wish to opt-out of receiving notifications for Announcements, you will be able to unsubscribe from them by following the instructions at that time.
