Spring Registration Information

Academic Advising

Academic advising for spring semester began on September 27th. Contact your academic advisor to schedule a time to meet, discuss your next semester, and to obtain your access code to register for classes.

Unsure who your academic advisor is? Follow the instructions below to find out:

• Log in to eServices and with your Star ID and password
• From the left menu, select “Academic Records”
• Select “Degree Audit”
• Your advisor assignment will be listed at the top of your audit
• No advisor listed? Contact the Academic Success Center at 218-477-4318.

Take 15 to Finish

There are many benefits for taking at least 15 credits per semester:

• Reduces student loan debt + savings on tuition, housing and fees
• Promotes lower dropout rates and higher GPAs
• Allows earlier entry into your career

Graduate on time by taking at least 15 credits a semester or 30 credits a year.

When does your registration window open?

Spring 2022 advising began on September 27th and continues throughout the semester. Make an appointment with your academic advisor before registration begins on October 18^th.

To check when your registration window opens, follow the instructions below:

• Log in to eServices and with your Star ID and password
• Click on “Courses & Registration”
  • Click on “Registration Window”
    • Change the semester if needed, then click “Submit”
  • The date given will be the earliest date you are allowed to add or drop a course from your schedule

Tutoring

Several tutoring options are available through the Academic Success Center including in-person drop-in and/or scheduled sessions. To view the drop-in tutoring schedule for your subject, go to:

• The MSUM website
• Type in “Tutoring” in the top right search bar
• Select Tutoring
• And “Tutoring Schedule” to view available classes and times
