CMU Roofing Project Update #2
The Comstock Memorial Union roofing project started this past week. Many may have noticed the pre-construction work along 6th Avenue South on the north side of our building.
We would also like to apologize in advance for any noise starting next week, Monday, May 3, as construction starts inside the building. You will see the following changes:
- Furniture has started to move out of our 2nd floor lounge spaces.
- Conference rooms 207 through 216 are no longer able to be scheduled.
- The Quiet Reflection space in CMU 212 will temporarily move downstairs to CMU 117 (nursing/lactation/meditation room) this weekend.
- Parts of the second floor will become blocked off starting this weekend.
- We need to remove some wireless access points within the construction area and apologize for any connection issues that may result.
We anticipate this project to be completed before the first day of Fall 2021 classes.
