Listening and Sharing Space for Students
Events happening in the world affect us all, and we recognize that it can be helpful to have a safe space to listen, share, and process as students. With the trial of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, an increase in Asian American/Pacific Islander hate crimes, as well as other recent acts of violence, we will create a safe space for students to process the events, emotions, and effects on people and communities.
MSUM Counseling Services and Student Life will offer a safe listening and sharing space that is open to all students. During the one-hour timeframe, Shanti Behrens from Counseling Services and Annie Wood from Student Life will hold space for folks to gather either in-person or online via Zoom. There will be no set agenda and folks are welcome to come as they are.
Gatherings will take place on Tuesdays from 3 – 4pm from March 30 through May 11 in CMU 105 or you can join via Zoom. Details are on DragonCentral.
