Join Quan Ren Yeo, MS to learn more about the field of Cyberpsychology. What is Cyberpsychology? It is the interaction between technology and individuals. It is multidisciplinary. Topics include Cyberpsychology in the context of social media, gaming, cybersecurity, cybercrime, gamification and virtual reality.
Practical Application in Gaming and Research Application in Cybersecurity will be addressed.
Quan Ren graduated from Nottingham Trent University (U.K.) with a Master of Science in Cyberpsychology. His area of expertise lies in Cybersecurity and he previously interned with INTERPOL at
the Information Security Incident Response Team as part of his diploma program in Cyber and Digital Security at Temasek Polytechnic. He has presented the field of Cyberpsychology as a guest speaker at Psi Beta, the United States National Honour Society in Psychology, Singapore Psychological Society and Cyberpsychology Indonesia. As a guest lecturer, he also conducted Cyberpsychology lecture sessions at Valley City State University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Governors State University and James Cook
University Singapore. He has future guest lecture sessions scheduled in 2021 with educational institutes in Ireland, Australia, and the United States. He aims to spread awareness of this exciting, new field of Psychology that is highly relevant to today’s context where technology is ingrained in our daily lives.
