New MSUM Percussion Group Brings the Beat to Downtown Moorhead

The MSUM Dragon Drumline will present two public performances on Saturday, Oct. 17, in downtown Moorhead. At 2 p.m., the newly formed group will perform a collection of drumline grooves and cadences in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen on the corner of Main Avenue and Eighth Street South. The ensemble will then perform at 2:30 p.m. in the Scheel’s parking lot on the corner of Center Avenue and Fifth Street North in celebration of the unveiling of the new City of Moorhead Bench Art project, created in cooperation with young artists from Moorhead High School and the City of Moorhead Arts and Culture Commission.
