The School of Performing Arts presents a special guest lecture Zoom session with Jasmine Fripp, “The Passionate Black Educator,” at noon in Weld Hall on Friday, October 23. Ms. Fripp, a public school choral educator in Tennessee, caused a stir this past summer when her essay “With Love: Letters to my Fellow White Colleagues” went viral online. Read her article, and come to the session ready to discuss the important issues of race, music, and education this coming Friday.
