Gratton receives James Patterson Book Club grant

Karisa Gratton, preschool teacher at the Early Education Center, was selected as one of this year’s recipients for the James Patterson Book Club grant. This essay-based grant, in the amount of $500, is issued to individuals each year through the Scholastic Book Club, allowing teachers to provide new literature for the students in their care. Karisa plans to use the grant to bring more nonfiction, age-appropriate texts to the 3- and 4-year-old learners in her class, who are very interested in the world we live in!
