Lavender Graduation
Register by May 15th
The FM Area LGBTQ College Alliance is hosting Lavender Graduation virtually! The celebration will be held May 21 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Graduating LGBTQ+ students from any FM area college or university are eligible to participate and should register by May 15. Graduates are encouraged to invite their friends, family, and professors to also register, attend, and help them celebrate.
Lavender Graduation is a brief ceremony and reception to honor local college graduates who identify as LGBTQ+. Degrees are not conferred at this event, but it is an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of members of this community in completing this aspect of their education. There will be speakers, presentations, and social time during this celebration.
Registration is a 2 part process:
1) Please register at https://bit.ly/2ydw66b by May 15. At the end of this step, you’ll receive a link to register for the Zoom Webinar.
2) Copy the registration link at the end of step 1 and paste it into a new tab. Complete the Zoom registration to receive the link and password to attend on May 21.
Note: In order to protect the privacy and safety of our participants, the Zoom link to and password should not be shared.
