Check out the Library’s COVID-19 Resources guide

It is National Library Week and your library has resources to help you during this time

As part of National Library Week, the MSUM Livingston Lord Library wants to ensure our users know about how to access library resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the physical library is closed, our staff and faculty are available to help you and there are many online resources too. The Library’s “COVID-19 Resources” library guide is accessible from the MSUM Library website and also directly via this link: https://libguides.mnstate.edu/COVID-19.

A brief helpful video to guide you through these resources follows: https://mediaspace.minnstate.edu/media/MSUM+Library+during+COVID-19/0_jws4z90a

This guide will give you information on Interlibrary Loan, the extension of check-out periods and fines, information on how to log in from off-campus using your StarID, resources for faculty including streaming media services, how to get online help from librarians including chat, text, email and Zoom appointments, database access, open educational resources, free resources opened up from publishers during the pandemic, free online government information, copyright resources, and access to the University Writing Support Center.

The Library keeps this page updated as new resources become available. Reach out for help if you need it – we can help you get those end of the semester project and paper articles and chapters and also guide you through the research process.
