‘When I Stutter’ film viewing

The “When I Stutter” movie event scheduled for Monday, March 16 on campus has been postponed for a date to be determined.

The Moorhead National Stuttering Association (NSA) chapter and the NSSLHA/Collegiate Sertoma student organization are hosting a viewing of the film When I Stutter. Directed by John Gomez, WHEN I STUTTER is a documentary that reveals the humanity that exists within an often-mysterious malady. Over the course of 4.5 years, 19 people shared stories about how stuttering has impacted their lives. These stories run the gamut of human emotion… Some are dark, some are funny, and others are triumphant! Additionally, there are “educational vignettes” interspersed throughout the documentary to help illuminate some of the mysteries surrounding stuttering. Members of the Moorhead NSA group will be available for a question and answer panel following the film. Come to view the film learn about the experience of stuttering from people who stutter. The event is free. Contact Elaine Pyle pyleel@mnstate.edu if you have questions.
