MSUM Musical Theatre students participated in MN-NATS competition

Six MSUM Musical Theatre students participated in the 2019 Minnesota National Association of Teachers of Singing (MN-NATS) competition at St. John’s University on November 1, where students took away prizes in multiple areas. Sloan Hanson placed 2nd in Women’s Musical Theatre; Michael Kalpakoff and Zachary Lutz place 2nd and 3rd in Men’s Musical Theatre; and Noah Roddy placed in 3rd Men’s Upper-Divisional Musical Theatre. All of the awarded students are BFA candidates in Musical Theatre Performance and study voice with MSUM’s Musical Theatre Vocal Director, Julie Adams.
