Biosciences students presented at Immunology Conference

Seven MSUM students (Jacob Tesch, Andrea Schaefer, Shakiba Hajipouri, Elaina Thompson, Alexis Cory, Mai Ceesay and Jennicca Leier) from Biosciences Department presented at the annual Autumn Immunology Conference. The conference featured many plenary sessions by outstanding Immunologists, forums for students and post-doctoral fellows to discuss their latest findings, and workshops for undergraduate students.
Their research focused on investigating the immune response to microbes or circadian rhythm disruption, in mice or fish, respectively. Their research projects funding came through Judith Strong and CSHE research funds and High Plains Intermountain Center for Agricultural Health and Safety funding awarded to Dr Sumali Pandey.
