MSUM Economics program participates in National Association for Business Economics Conference

MSUM students (Zain Afsheen, Heriberto Diaz, Sarocha Promsombat, McKenna Togstad, and Rebecca Weir) joined Economics faculty members T. J. Hansen and Gregory Stutes in attending the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Conference in Denver, CO from October 6-8, 2019. Highlights of the conference included a presentation by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, and multiple sessions featuring leaders from private industry, government, and academia. The group also learned about NABE’s Certified Business Economist program and numerous career opportunities for business economists. This is the MSUM Economics program’s first year participating in this conference. The experience was made possible thanks to the generosity of MSUM Economics alumni.
